Lafeu Mountains

The Lafeu Mountains are the most well known range in the area. The highest mountain known, called Palis reaches 43,494 feet. It is impossible for most to reach this peak, as the temperatures drop to fifty degrees celcius; very few, aside perhaps an elemental of ice or something similar, can survive such a low temperature. This mountain range fans out across the grounds into rolling greenery, and in the south-eastern areas, rocky cliffs and drop offs fall into a valley with scattered trees and other boulders. On the western side, the mountains touch Lotus Valley.

Lotus Valley

Though the mountains may have once given birth to the valley, the location has a life of its own. Hadar Creek snakes through the area. The water rushes most when the creek falls through the middle. This may be due to an underground stream, but none know for certain. The creek flows out to a hidden location, as, strangely, it disappears under a formation of rock in the earth on the far side of the valley. Multiple species of tree, grass, and flower can be found here, and most animal life and other fauna flourish.

Tau Plains

The plains are, in most areas, dry and flat; in others, the plains roll gently and are moist with grasses. In both, however, the grasses reach unusual heights and are related by means of plant life. While any hunter would find the grasses as a sort of cover, younger life will enjoy the amusement the plants offer. There are trees here, but most are short with unusual trunk shapes. Their limbs are clustered close to their bodies; the paths to the top are usually simple, but can be awkward.

Jumoke Jungle

This jungle has a truly wild and unruly sense of personality. It is darkest and most vicious when an individual reaches the center. Few dare to venture too far; the darkness is riddled with mystery, and some do not return. The trees are tall and mighty and there are many ground plants that flower in gigantic leaves, but be warned - some are deadly to touch. You won't get out of the jungle in time to find help, although a few bodies have been found, not far from the entrances. The trees are smaller around the edges, as if growing smaller the farther one is from the center.
